Kathleen Brooks, 59, of State College, formerly of Indianapolis, IN died Thursday, November 8,2007.
She was born on August 21, 1948 in Point Pleasant, NJ.
She was a Health Administrator for St. Vincent Hospital. She previously worked as a Private Investigator in Oklahoma City, OK and as a model.
She was a member of the Lake View Church in Indianapolis, IN. She loved arts and crafts, especially making bird houses and wreaths, traveling, riding motorcycles, and animals.
She is survived by four sons, John David Masters and his wife Joyce of Ridgefield, WA, William Robert Hockenbury and his wife Marla of Indianapolis, IN, Michael and Eric Brooks both of Indianapolis, IN; a daughter, Michelle Kuiper of Louisville, KY; two sisters, Bonnie Higgenbotham of Oklahoma City, OK, Mary Ann Fisher of Clearwater, FL; five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her significant other of nine years, Dave Shaeffer of Centre Hall.
A visitation will be from 10:00 AM to Noon on Monday, November 12,2007 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services PC, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. The funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Harry Brotzman officiating.
Burial will be at the Boalsburg Cemetery.
