Kathleen Marie McKinley, 47, of State College, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Centre Crest.
Born April 21, 1965, in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of John D. and Jane McKinley of State College and Billie and Vince Mazza of Burnham.
Kathleen was a member of the State College Assembly of God. She wrote and published a children's book "Barnabas Barnheart, The Bumble Bee."
She loved music and singing especially gospel music.
In addition to her parents she is survived by two brothers, Brian J. and Kevin A. McKinley; two sisters, Jackie L. Treaster and Carol (Ron) Fultz; a step-brother Vince Mazza, Jr.; a step sister Tina and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Scott William McKinley.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 1 at the State College Assembly of God, 2201 University Drive Ext., State College, PA 16801. A funeral service will be held from the church 11 a.m. Friday, November 2 with the Reverends Harry Brotzman, Jr. and Samuel Strohm officiating.
Interment will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.
