Kryder C. Yarnell, 87, of State College, died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center at State College.
Born in Bellefonte October 28, 1918, He was a son of Roy and Charlotte Tressler Yarnell.
He attended Bellefonte Schools.
In Accident, Maryland on March 1, 1941 he married Winifred Fetterolf who died November 8, 2003.
He retired from Bell Telephone on Pennsylvania after thirty-four years of service.
Surviving are two daughters, Phyllis Dreibelbis and her husband Wayne, of State College, and Nancy Yarnell of State College. Two grandsons, Wayne Dreibelbis, Jr. of State College and Scot Drebelbis of Philadelphia and four great grandchildren.
Also surviving brother Edward Yarnell of Pleasant Gap and sister Betty Ardry of Nittany.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Harrison Yarnell, David Yarnell and Willis Yarnell.
Friends will be received from 10:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, at Mt. Nittany United Methodist Church, 1500 E. Branch Road, State College, PA. The funeral will be at 11:00 a. m. at the church, with the Rev. Howard P. Woodreff and the Rev. James L. Williams officiating.
Burial will be at the Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA.
