Obituary

Lawrence W. Craig, 86, of State College, died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at his residence.
He was born January 19, 1922, in Mononghela, PA, a son of the late Hugh and Anne B. (Lorbor) Craig.
On August 6, 1943, he married Madeline Williams, who survives at home.
He is survived by two daughters, Sheryl J. Ayers and her husband John E. and Kathleen S. Kellerman and her husband Terry of State College; one daughter in law, Pamela Barry Craig of Pennsburg; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Allen Craig, three brothers and three sisters.
He had made the military his career, spending over 30 years in the US Air Force. He also worked at HRB Singer and with the PA State Police as a Driver Examiner.
He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
He was a member of the State College Christian Church. He enjoyed woodworking.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
