Leslie L. Lutz Jr., 64, of Bellefonte, died July 14, 2017, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Born January 31, 1953, in Bellefonte, PA, he was a son of the late Leslie Sr. and Pauline (Rider) Lutz. On April 20, 2002, he married Linda (Lines) Lutz, whom he called his "Rock". Linda survives at home.

Leslie graduated from the Bellefonte Area High School in 1971, he was a life member of the Bellefonte Logan Fire Company #1. During the 1970's and 80's he was an Emergency Medical Technician for the Logan Ambulance Service. He was employed as an EMT at Penn State Rittenour Health Center. He then went on to work in the CAP department at Wal Mart for 20 plus years. He was consistently building things and woodworking. He enjoyed Landscaping, and reading murder mystery and science fiction books. He loved traveling with his wife Linda and spending time with his family and friends.

Along with his wife Linda, he is survived by six children; Stacy Pernesky (Leo), Stephaine Bochert (Eddie), Robert Bochert Jr. (Amanda) all of DuBois. Shynyse Lutz, Trystyn Lutz, and Michael Lutz all of Clarence; two sisters, Romayne B. Lutz Naylor (J. Eric), and Paula O. Lutz both of Bellefonte; one brother Frederick A. Lutz of Bellefonte; seven grandchildren, Cassidy, Brody, Shad, Peyton, all of DuBois, Jayden, Wyatt, and Ember-Leigh, all of Clarence.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College. The funeral service will immediately follow with The Reverend Terry Dougherty officiating. Interment will be held at Centre County Memorial Park, State College.
