Lila J. Dell's Obituary
Lila J. Dell, 97, of State College, Friday, March 14, 2008 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in College Township.
She was born on March 6, 1911 in Oakville, Cumberland County to the late Wesley and Zora (Vaughn) Parsons.
She was a 1929 graduate of Mount Union High School. She was employed as an office manager at Himes Printing Inc. and retired in 1976.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Geoffrey Kent Dell, and three sisters, Dorothy Weaver, Evelyn Hetrick, and Mabel Gray.
She is survived by one brother, Eli Parsons of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Edith DeLuca of Enfield, Connecticut, and generations of nieces and nephews.
She was a 50 plus year member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in State College.
She enjoyed Crocheting and Reading.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
