Lois Marie Conner, 79, of State College, died Friday, November 17, 2006 at The Fairways at Brookline Village.
She was born November 5, 1927, in Altoona, a daughter of the late William A. and A. Pauline Riley Waters.
On February 20, 1949, in Falls Church, VA, she married Arthur John Conner, Jr., who preceded her in death December 7, 2000.
Lois graduated from Central High School in Washington, DC and attended Penn State.
She was employed at Pattee Library, retiring in 1991, after twenty-one years of service.
Mrs. Conner was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in State College.
She is survived and will be missed by daughter, Drucie Weirauch and her husband Doug of State College and Murraysville, and their sons Matt of Santa Cruz, CA and Dan of Lewes, DE; three sons Chance B. Conner of Colorado, Keith P. Conner and his wife Sharon and daughter Katlynn of Sunbury, and John A. "Drew" Conner of Sinnamahoning; and a brother Charles E. Waters of Destin, FL.
A memorial service will be held at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College at 4 PM on Monday, November 20th. Friends will be received from 3 PM until the time of the service.
