Louise D. Gordon, 90, of Boalsburg, died Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Centre Crest Nursing Home.

Born February 12, 1928, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Thelma (Maynard) Pysher. On September 2, 1950, she married Joseph Gordon who preceded her in death.

Louise attended the Woodycrest United Methodist Church in State College.

She was a true Pittsburgh fan, she enjoyed watching the Pirates and Steelers play. She also loved music and dance. Louise worked in childcare where she treated each child like they were her own. She cherished her job and all of the children in her care.  Louise was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother, being a homemaker was her most treasured accomplishment.

She is survived by four children; Michael Gordon (Amy) of State College, Kenneth Gordon (Susan) of Centre Hall, Donald Gordon (Tina) of Boalsburg, and Gayle Lyle (Brian) of Boalsburg; two brothers, William Pysher (Rita) of Williamsport, Robert Pysher of Williamsport; twelve grandchildren, eight great - grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends will be received from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, and from 9:00 am – 10:00 am on Monday, August 6, 2018, at the funeral home. The funeral service will immediately follow with The Rev. Michael Ozaki officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Montgomery, PA.
