Obituary

Lucille Z. Brown, 90, of Pleasant Gap, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Fairways of Brookline in State College.
Born April 17, 1920 in Pleasant Gap, she was the daughter of the late Guy B. and Ida (Zettle) Kersteter
On January 29, 1937, she married Robert H. Brown, who preceded her in death on January 31, 2002.
Lucille retired from the Pennsylvania State University as a printing machine operator. During World War II, Lucille was a member of the Pleasant Gap United Methodist Church All Girls Choir. She was a member of the Amaranth Social Club and was an avid NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan.
After retirement, she and Bob enjoyed camping and fishing at their trailer on the Juniata River, near the Port Royal Bridge.
She is survived by a son, Gary L. (Cheryl) of State College; a sister, Emodean M. Kersteter of Pleasant Gap; and a brother Guy B. Kersteter, Jr. (Patricia) of Linglestown.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Bird and Genieve Larimer.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College.
The funeral will follow at 2:00 PM, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Thomas Osif officiating.
Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park.
