Lucinda Hill Saylor Miller, 77, of Bellefonte died Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Philadelphia.

She was born February 24, 1941, in Colver PA; a daughter of the late Telford and Gertrude (Reig) Hill. On April 6, 2002, she married William Miller who survives at home.

She was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Bellefonte.

Lucinda was a nurse at Centre Community Hospital for many years, then at Mount Nittany until her retirement. She took pleasure in sewing quilting, and needlework. Some of her favorite hobbies were reading, traveling and card games along with playing Mahjongg with friends. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Jim (Jackie) Saylor of State College, Ellen Saylor of Knoxville, TN; four step children, Dana Miller, Lisa (Jeff) Heimer, Stephen (Deb) Miller, William (Tami) Miller; one brother, T. Jack (Lois) Hill of Landisville, PA; seven grandchildren, James Saylor, Cathaline Saylor, Brenton Saylor, Craig Heimer, Alison Heimer, Elijah Miller, and Rhys Miller.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Saylor; sister, Kay McCachren, and brother, Richard Hill.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018, at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 134 Bishop St., Bellefonte, PA, with Rev. Fr. George I. Jakopac officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the YMCA of Centre County, 125 W. High St., Bellefonte, PA or to the Centre County Library, 200 N. Allegheny St. Bellefonte, PA 16823.
