Lynwood E. "Lyn" Kohl Jr., 59, of Bellefonte, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at his residence.
Born on December 8, 1952 in Reading, he is a son of the late Lynwood E. Sr. and Doris V. (Unger) Kohl.
Lyn was a graduate of Fleetwood High School and obtained an Associate's Degree from Penn State University, Schuylkill Campus.
On March 18, 2000 in Minersville, PA, he was married to Jane L. Agnelly, who survives at home.
Mr. Kohl was employed as an Electrician before retiring.
He enjoyed collecting antique and classic cameras, auctions, flea marketing, antiquing, traveling, hunting, camping, and rock collecting.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, John L. Kohl of Denver, PA; one sister, Cynthia L. Mayer (William) of Auburn, PA; one brother in law, Richard Orban of Bernville, PA; four uncles, Bill Unger (Dorothy) of Blandon, PA, Wellington Kohl Jr. (Martha) of Elverson, PA, Ernest Kohl of Mohnton, PA, and Benjamin Kohl of Birdsboro, PA; one aunt, Arlene Guigley of Reading, PA; four nieces, Crystal Brown (Kris) of Pine Grove, PA, Jennifer Hebelka (Rich) of Schuylkill Haven, PA, Melissa Miller (Heath) of Landingville, PA, and Renee Orban of Bernville, PA; and one nephew, Joseph Orban of Bernville, PA
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Deborah P. Orban.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 PM on Friday, January 27, 2012 and from 12 PM until time of the funeral services on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College. Funeral Services will begin at 1 PM on Saturday from the funeral home with Christian Brady officiating. Interment will follow at Centre County Memorial Park.
