Obituary

M. Winnie Rishel Intorre, 87 of State College, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003.
Born on Sept. 6, 1915, in Oak Hall, she was a daughter of the late Wayne and Mildred Whitehill Rishel.
On Nov. 27, 1941, in Richmond, VA., she married Dr. Joseph V. Intorre who survives at home.
Prior to her marriage, she worked for the family of William S. Hoffman, registrar of Penn State.
She was a graduate of Boalsburg High School.
All of her daughters took ballet lessons and she made all of their costumes. Winnie also enjoyed cooking and baking from scratch. Family and friends looked forward to and enjoyed Winnie's homemade meals. She also enjoyed gardening, photography, crafts, and the company of friends and family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Sulane Intorre Breon of State College, Yonnie Intorre Niebel of Camp Hill, Cindy Intorre of Baltimore and Cheree Intorre Jones of State College; a sister Adaline Intorre; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a. m. Thursday, August 14, 2003 at Mark D. Heintzelman Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA.
The funeral will be at 11 a. m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. George Burn officiating.
Burial will be in Cente County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brookline Employees Fund, 1950 Cliffside Dr., State College, PA 16801; or to the Oak Hall Park in care of Carl Vesper, 148 Brush Valley Road, Boalsburg, PA 16827.
