Ann Sheesley, 77, of State College PA, died at home on Sunday, February 25, 2018.

Born July 7, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Mike and Marian Simco of Spring Mills, PA.

Ann was a graduate of the Penns Valley High School and the Empire Beauty School.

On November 25, 1972 she married John D. Sheesley III, who survives.  She is also survived by  a daughter, Rita Fittro (Dan) of Cape Coral, FL, a son Craig Heckman (Heather) of Bellefonte, PA, a daughter Nicole Sheesley of State College, PA and a son John Sheesley IV of State College, PA.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Michael Brooks, Jeremy Brooks, Ashley Brooks, Will Heckman, Alyse Heckman, Carley Heckman, Jack Sheesley and Karlee Gummo. Great grandchildren: Gavin Brooks, Triston Heckman, Colin Brooks, Kylie Faust, Brooklyn Williams and Jordyn Williams.  Additionally, she is survived by a sister, Carol Nelson of Allentown, PA.

She owned and operated a Beauty Salon in Bellefonte, PA and a Bed and Breakfast -Berwick Manor in Alexandria, PA.  She enjoyed antique collecting, boating and spending time with friends and family.  Ann belonged to the Alexandria United Methodist Church and had been active with the Methodist Youth Group in Huntingdon, PA.

Services will be private as per Ann's request.
