In Loving Memory:

Margie Ann Price Payne of State College, Pennsylvania passed away on June 3, 2020. She was born to the late Eural Schoattes and Lilia n Price on September 21,1941 in Decatur, Georgia.

Margie graduated Valedictorian of her 1959 Class at Howard High School then attended Spelman College, graduating in 1964.

In 1965, she married Thomas Alan Payne of Atlanta, GA and to this union came one son, Christopher Marc-Alan Payne.

Margie worked for Southern Bell and the Federal Trade Commission for a number of years before devoting the rest of her career to raising her son and taking care of her husband of 55 years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Alan Payne; son, Christopher Marc-Alan Payne (Maria Larsson), granddaughter, Emilia Joy Payne; grandson, Christopher Lukas Payne and a host of other relatives and friends.

A brief service will be held at Donald Trimble Mortuary, in Decatur Ga. on Wednesday, June 10, at 1:00 pm . Burial will be at Georgia National Cemetary in Canton, GA on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 9:30am .
