Marian L. Hartley, 87, of Centre Hall, died Monday, March 12, 2007, at Centre Crest in Bellefonte.
She was born May 3, 1919, in New Berlin, PA a daughter of the late Floyd L. and H. Grace Long Musser.
On February 24, 1937, she married Donald C. Hartley who preceded her in death September 21, 1986.
Mrs. Hartley is survived by two daughters, Nancy J. Smeltzer and her husband Richard of Pleasant Gap and Judy Bortzfield and her husband Edward of Waynesboro, PA; two sons, Floyd L. Hartley and his wife Helen of rural Mechanicsburg and Ricky L. Hartley and his wife Connie of rural Spring Mills; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Larry E. Hartley in 1960, a daughter in law Leslie Zettle Hartley and 2 sisters, LeEmma Sholley, and Ruth Hoffman.
Marian assisted on the family farm early in life, and assisted other family members with babysitting, and was a homemaker most of her life.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Centre Hall.
Mrs. Hartley especially enjoyed cooking, baking, embroidery work, and table games. She was devoted to caring for her family.
Friends will be received from 11:00 a. m. to 12:30 p. m. Friday, March 16, 2007 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p. m. Friday, at the funeral home with the Reverend Dan Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery, Centre Hall, PA
