Marie Y. Coolick, 83, of Brookville, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Laurelbrooke Landing, Brookville.
She was born June 16, 1923 at Covington, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late Louis L. Palmer and Martha Strange.
She is survived by her husband, Philip M. Coolick; a son, Philip J. (Connie) Coolick and family of Pine Grove Mills, Pennsylvania; her daughter, Ann M. (Gregg) Fritz and family of Brookville, Pennsylvania; and by five grandchildren.
She was a graduate of New Albany High School, New Albany, Pennsylvania and from the Robert Packer School of Nursing, Sayre, Pennsylvania, with an RN degree.
She enjoyed golfing, cooking, traveling, and particularly, her family and grandchildren.
Other surviving relatives are a sister, Phyllis Sturdevant and family, and a stepmother, Florence Palmer, all of New Albany, Pennsylvania.
There will be no viewing and funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
Internment will be at the Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, Pennsylvania.
