Marilyn J. Lutz, 71, of Bellefonte, died Friday, May 13, 2011 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center at State College.
She was born February 22, 1940, a daughter of the late Aaron and LaVaughn Hamer Cole.
On October 16, 1959, she married Kenneth (Kenny) Lutz who preceded her in death on September 1, 2005.
Marilyn graduated from Bald Eagle High School. She devoted most of her life to being a homemaker. Early in life she attended Black Oak United Methodist Church at Port Maltida. She especially enjoyed watching the Soaps and The Price is Right on TV.
Surviving Mrs. Lutz are two daughters, Linda L. Haupt and her husband Robert, and Gerry D. Lutz, all of Bellefonte; one son Paul N. Lutz and his wife Barbara of Bellefonte; three sisters, Donna Woods of Philipsburg, Martha Cole of Finleyville, and Mary Cole of Warriors Mark; two brothers Barry Lee Cole of Port Maltida and Aaron Cole Jr. of Milesburg; and four grandchildren.
Following her wishes there will be no public visitation or memorial services.
