Marion Heiser Seifarth, 101, formerly of Clarks Summit, died Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Juniper Village at Brookline, State College. She was married to Robert E. Seifarth who preceded her in death in 1994.
Born December 26, 1915, in Taylor, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and Ella Johns Heiser.
She was a graduate of Scranton Central High School.
Marion worked as a hairdresser, an assistant director of the Girls Club in Binghamton, NY, a Housemother at Lourdesmont in Clarks Summit, and for many years, she and her husband co-owned Bob's Neway Market.
Marion is survived by her daughter, Sally S. Tucker of State College; three grandchildren, Tracy Tucker of Chesapeake, VA, William Tucker Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Kitty Hawk, NC, and Karin Tucker of Seattle, WA; three great-grandchildren, Charmiss Tucker of Chesapeake, Ada and Tucker Battan of Seattle.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date followed by a luncheon.
