Marion MacMaster Thorpe 80, of Huntingdon, Pa, formerly of Orangeburg, SC and Medford Lakes, NJ died Saturday, July 29, 2006. She was born in Camden, NJ. Mrs. Thorpe was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Orangeburg, SC, Carolina Friendship Club, Newcomers Club and the Humane Society. She enjoyed Bridge, Garden Club and Reading.
Mrs. Thorpe was the daughter of John and Marion (Barrick) MacMaster . She was the widow of George A. Thorpe. Two children preceded her in death, Anita Thorpe Crane and David B. Thorpe.
Mrs. Thorpe is survived by two sons, Dr. George E. Thorpe and wife Theresa of Huntingdon, Pa and John W. Thorpe of Charlotte NC.
She is also survived by four granddaughters and three great grandchildren.
Mrs. Thorpe was a Humanity Gifts Donor to the Hershey Medical Center.
Private memorial services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
