Marjorie "Peg" Shuey Haller, 78, of State College, died Saturday, February 25, 2017 at her residence.

Born April 4, 1938, in Bellefonte she was the daughter of the late Russell and Lucille (Jackson) Shuey.

On July 20, 1971, in State College she married Frederick P. Haller who preceded her in death on July 22, 2012.

Peg loved her granddaughters and the outdoors. She enjoyed bird watching and fishing. In her younger years she enjoyed hunting.

She is survived by her son, Frederick P. Haller, II and his wife, Margie of State College; two granddaughters, Heather and Haley Haller of State College and four sisters, Kate Auman, Linda Gummo, Sandra Witherite and Beverly Capperela.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Shuey, Jr.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 2, 2017, from noon -2:00PM at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with the Reverend P. Stevens Lynn officiating. Interment will be in Centre County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Peg's name may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 205 S. Garner Street, State College, PA 16801.
