Mark D. Rothermel, 71, of R.D #1 Middleburg, went home to be with his Lord, on Monday, December 26, 2005, at his home
He was born Feb. 26, 1934 a son of the late John and Katie Gessner Rothermel.
On January 5, 1952 he married Frona Kratzer Rothermel who survives at home.
Early in life Mr. Rothermel farmed and worked in logging industry. He then went to work at Wode Mode Inc. in Kreamer retiring after 28 years of service.
He attended Beavertown God's Missionary Church. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert Rothermel of R. D. # 1, Middleburg; a grandson Mike Rothermel of Mifflinburg; a sister Helen Clark and a brother Earl Rothermel both of Miffllinburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jody Rothermel in 1998; one sister. Margaret Kuhns and two brothers Guy and Leroy Rothermel.
Friends will be received from 7 - 9 p. m. Friday, December 30, 2005 at the Beavertown God's Missionary Church, Creek Road, Middleburg, PA. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a. m. Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the church with the Rev. James Plank officiating. Burial will be in the Beavertown God's Missionary Church Cemetery, Creek Road, Middleburg, PA.
