Obituary

Mrs. Martha R. Motter, 93, of Hartleton, went home to be with her Lord, Friday, December 17, 2004 at Evangelical Hospital in Lewisburg.
She was born Dec. 20, 1910 in Pillow, PA, a daughter of the late Andrew and Hattie Bahner Hain.
On June 19, 1937 she married Earl C. Motter who preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 1999.
Early in life Mrs. Motter worked at a shirt factory in Pillow. Most of her life was devoted to being a homemaker.
Mrs. Motter enjoyed sewing and was an accomplished seamstress. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, flower gardening and doing word searches.
She was a member of Mountain Road God's Missionary Church in Penns Creek, and also attended Mt. Pleasant Mills Church of Christ in Christian Union with her family.
She is survived by a son, The Reverend Truman E. Motter and his wife Betty of Hartleton; one daughter Ruth M. Clark of Lewisburg; 4 grandchildren, Beth Walter and her husband Brett of McClure, Crystal Stahl and her husband Ronald of Mifflinburg, Tamara Guyer and her husband Matthew of Middleburg, and Jeffrey Clark and his wife Brenda of Lewisburg; 9 great grandchildren, Nathan and Beau Walter, and Andrew and Debra Arnold all of McClure, Justin Stahl of Lancaster, Rodney and Garett Stahl of Mifflinburg, Courtney Guyer of Middleburg and Riley Clark of Lewisburg and 1 great great grandson Caden Stahl of Mifflinburg.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son in law Carl Clark; 4 sisters, Maude Jury, Kate Weist, Helen Hassinger,and Bertha Sheesley and 4 brothers, Frantz, Mark, Floyd, and Clarence Hain.
Friends will be received from 7 - 9 p. m. Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at the Mountain Road God's Missionary Church, 603 Mountain Road, Penns Creek, PA. The funeral will be at 10:00 a. m. Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at the church with the Rev. Alan Walter and the Rev. Daryl Kuhns officiating. A graveside committal service will be held at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday at the God's Missionary Church Cemetery, Pillow, PA
