Mary Ann Bjalme, 70, of State College, died March 5, 2015, at Mount Nittany Medical Centre.

Born June 23, 1944, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Clarence J. Cox, Sr., and Bernadine M. Korman Cox.

On December 14, 1963, she married Torsten V. Bjalme Jr., who preceded her in death on February 6, 2010.

Mary Ann attended the Faith United Church of Christ in State College where she sang in the choir for many years; she was a member of the Business Professional Women's Association "BPW"; she enjoyed painting and traveling the world. She made friends everywhere she went. Mary Ann loved taking care of her granddaughters; she enjoyed the beach and preparing for Christmas time, which was her favorite holiday.

She is survived by one son, Steven Bjalme of Leola; one daughter Kirsten Bjalme- Evans (Michael), of Binghamton, NY; three granddaughters, Sabrina, Holly, and Meghan Evans; one sister, Carol (Randy) Walker, of Green River, WY; four brothers-in- law, Richard(Peggy), Carl (Connie), Phillip, Terry (Pam) Bjalme; two sisters- in -law, Sue and Claire Cox; her beloved dog, Sookie, and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Joe and Bill Cox; and one sister-in-law, Donna Bjalme.

All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
