Mary Ardire Walker, 85, of State College, died Friday, January 1, 2016 at Centre Crest in Bellefonte.

She was born April 28, 1930 in Camden, NJ; a daughter of the late Santo and Margaret Capperella Ardire.

On September 7, 1959 she married James H. Walker who preceded her in death July 12, 1988.

Mrs. Walker was a homemaker.

Mary is survived by a brother Joseph P. Ardire of Deptford, NJ; one aunt, Rose McKee and several cousins.

Friends will be received from 9 a. m. to 9:30 a. m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service 1034 Benner Pike, State College. The funeral will follow immediately 9:30 a. m. at the funeral home with the Reverend Neil Dadey officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College, PA 16801
