Obituary
Mary E. Eckenroth Albright, 79, of State College, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017.
Born February 21, 1938, in Pleasant Gap, PA, she was a daughter of the late Paul J. and Mildred M. (Kennedy) Eckenroth.
Mary is survived by three sisters; Martha Grove and her husband Sam of Centre Hall, Janet Bowersox and her husband Wayne of Lehigh Acres, FL, Margaret Corl and her husband Neal of Rebersburg; three brothers, Leroy Eckenroth of Centre Hall, Raymond Eckenroth of Centre Hall, and Gary Eckenroth of Lehigh Acres, FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter; sister, Leona Gentzel; brother-in-law, Byron Gentzel and sister-in-law, Ann Eckenroth.
She enjoyed talking and spending time with her family and friends, reading, baking and cooking. Mary was of the Lutheran faith and was a member of the former Emanuel Lutheran Church, Tusseyville, PA. Mary's wishes were to have all services be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to the American Heart Association, 501 Howard Ave., Altoona, PA 16601, or to the Lutheran Church in Tusseyville, c/o Cindy Grove, 158 Williams Rd., Centre Hall, PA 16828.
