Mary Margaret Gatto Boscaino, 75, of State College, formerly of Ridgway, died July 29, 2016 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.

Born June 7, 1941 in Ridgeway she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Kemmer) Polito.

She married Ben Joseph Gatto who preceded her in death in March 2004 and Joseph Boscaino who preceded her in death in March 2015.

Mary Margaret was a graduate of Ridgway High School and a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church. A few years back she was the head of the Chamber of Commerce in Ridgeway.

While living is State College she attended Good Shepherd Catholic Church and worked for Zale's in the Nittany Mall.

Surviving is one son, James A. Gatto of Canonsburg; one daughter, Sylvia J. Gatto of Ridgway; four grandchildren, Ben J. Reed (Tara) of Philadelphia, Brian W. Reed (Sarah) of Ridgway, Anthony J. and Sage M. Gatto both of Pittsburgh and five great grandchildren, Libby, Piper, Jeremiah, Samantha and Emily Reed.

In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Polito.

A funeral mass will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 20, 2016 at St. Leo Magnus Roman Catholic Church, 111 Depot Street, Ridgway, PA 15853. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family.
