Mary Ann Hill, 64, of Bellefonte, died Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center.
She was born in Bellefonte on April 20, 1943 to the late Roy Jacob and Louise May Waite Crater.
She was a 1962 graduate of Bellefonte High School.
She worked as a bus driver for 13 years for Head Start.
She was a member of the Bellefonte Moose. She enjoyed needle point and was a avid bingo player.
She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth J. Hale and her husband Michael and their children Rebecca, Chelsea, and Michael Jr. all of Great Falls, Mont., Molly L. Hill and her companion Deanna of Bellefonte; a brother, Namon Ray Waite and his wife Shirley of Pleasant Gap; a sister, Dorothy E. Solt and her husband Daryl of Bellefonte; and was known as "nana" to Beth Solt, Joel Zimmerman, Kelly Baron and Donald Beere.
Friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, January 21, 2008 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services PC, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Dr. Barry Folmar officiating.
Burial will follow at the Centre County Memorial Park.
