Mary (Katherine) Keiser Stibbe died March I, 2005 at Renaissance Quality Residential Elder Care at the age of 102, She was born on January 31, 1903 in Easton, Pa,. The daughter of the late William Oliver and Anna Matilda Semple. In 1926 she married James R. Keiser who died in 1938. In 1946 she married Jan P.M. Stibbe who died in 1973, She was a graduate of Northfield Seminary ( Mass.) and the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to moving to Renaissance in 1995 she maintained a residence at Buck Hill Falls, PA. For many years she operated the Lenape Village summer resort at Tafton, PA, and the Northwood Lodge Resort in Monte Rio, Calif , Katherine was an avid golfer and bridge player. She traveled world-wide with her second husband. She is survived by a son James R, Keiser of State College, Pa, and a daughter Elinor Uhrig of Chester ,Va. There are eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren . She was the last of her generation . It was her desire that her body be donated for medical research. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
