Mary Meyer, 79, of State College, died Friday, December 16,2005 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
She was born on April 10,1926 in Yeagertown to the late Vilo and Yana Christ Vasiloff.
She married J.H. Meyer who survives at home.
She was a graduate of Lewistown High School.
She was last employed at Glass Inc. as a secretary.
She was a member of the Faith United Church of Christ in State College. She loved bingo, camping, sightseeing and traveling.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Gerald H. Meyer of State College, and his son Christopher W. Meyer; Patricia M. Alters and her husband Stan of Port Matilda, and their children Matthew A. and Bradley D. Alters; and William H. Meyer and his wife Carol of Burnsville,MN and their children Melissa A., Rebecca L. and Adam C. Meyer.; one great grandson; three sisters, Grace Vasil, Helen Walters and Eva Barger all of Lewistown; and a brother, George Vasiloff of Lewistown.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike and Tom Vasiloff.
Their will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, December 21,2005 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Home and Cremation Services PC, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801 with the Rev. Diane Prosser officiating. Burial will follow at the Pine Hall Lutheran Cemetery in State College.
