Mary E. Saltzer, 77, of Halifax, died Saturday, Feb 9, 2019 at the Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg.

She was born June 15, 1941, in Bloomfield, PA; a daughter of the late Elmer and Helen Stoneroad Saltzer.

She was a member of Zion Stone United Methodist Church, Halifax, and served on the Council of the Aging at Premier Homes.

Surviving Mary is two sisters, Verna Weaver of Pennfield, and Margaret Klinger of Halifax; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Violet Stoneroad.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 am, Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Zion Stone United Methodist Church, Million Dollar Road, Halifax, PA.  A memorial service will follow at 11 am at the church.  Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax, PA
