Mildred A. (Breon) Callahan, 77, of Bellefonte, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025. She was born May 18, 1947 in Bellefonte, PA to the late Maurice and Bertha (Ross) Breon.

Mildred enjoyed shopping, dining out, spending time with her grandchildren and celebrating and decorating for Christmas Eve. She attended Church of the Good Shepherd and was employed by Sleep Inn Motel until her retirement.

Along with her parents, her first husband, Lee H. Roan and her second husband, George W. Callahan she was preceded in death by siblings, Clifford, Edna, Evelyn, Marilyn and Daniel. She is survived by six children, Jean Glenn and her husband Don, George Callahan and his wife Pam, Sally Ishler and her husband Mike, Cindy Ostroskie and her husband Mike, Bob Callahan and his wife Chris and Pamela Callahan; 13 grandchildren, James, Kimberly, M. Alan, Jason, Amber, Jaclyn, Samantha, Brittney, Marisa, Ryan, Kristina, Eric and Stephen; 15 great-grandchildren and four siblings, Rosemary, Agnes, Harold and Floyd.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 11:00am – 1:00pm, with family remarks at 12:30pm, at the Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. Interment will immediately follow at Centre County Memorial Park.
