Nancy Luella Poust of Pine Grove Mills passed away at the age of 74 on July 8, 2022 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on August 24, 1947 in DuBois, PA she was the daughter of Eugene and Mary (Longwell) Stuart.

Nancy is preceded in death by both parents and her two brothers William Stuart and Robert Stuart.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years Charles (Charlie), her daughter Caroline Francis (Thomas) of Springboro, OH, her son Robert Poust (Shannon) of Tyrone, three granddaughters Sara Francis, Anna Francis, and Elliana Poust and one grandson Anthony Poust.

Nancy graduated from Brockway Area High School in 1965. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and her Master's degree in Elementary Science from Clarion University.
Before her retirement, she served as a Special Education Teacher for the Central Intermediate Unit 10 and for Penns Valley Area School District.

Nancy was a member of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, where she previously served as a Deacon. She was a 7th Degree member of Victor Grange in Boalsburg. As an active member of the Ferguson Township Lions Club, Nancy served as a past president, zone chairperson, as well as holding other local and district offices for the Lions Club, and earned the PA Fellow Award and the most prestigious award in Lionism, the Melvin Jones award. Nancy also volunteered with the Red Cross on a Disaster Action team and worked with both the Girl and Boy Scouts.

In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, doing crafts and volunteering.

Visitation will be from 3:00PM – 4:00PM on Wednesday July 13, 2022 at Pine Grove Presbyterian Church 150 W Pine Grove Rd, Pine Grove Mills, PA with a memorial service following at 4:00PM officiated by Reverend Carl Campbell.
