Obituary

Naomi E. Williams, 83, of Bellefonte, died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center at State College.
She was born February 16, 1925, in Lemont, a daughter of the late Nelson and Minnie Houtz Williams.
Naomi retired from her position as a meat cutter with Weis Markets in State College following many years of service.
Through the years, she attended various United Methodist Churches. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the American Legion in Bellefonte, the Auxiliary of the V. F. W. and the Veterans Club.
An avid Steelers and Penn State fan, she enjoyed football and watching golf on television.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Williams is the last of her generation having been preceded in death by five sisters, Leora I. Tharp, M. Madeline Boob, Katherine G. Williams, Eleanor A. Williams and Betty L. Williams and three brothers Harold E., Elwood and Willis E. Williams.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p. m. Friday, February 20, 2009, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA, with the Reverend Samuel Reese officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Naomi's memory may be made to The American Cancer Society, 123 S. Sparks St., State College, PA 16801; or to a charity of the donors choice.
