Pamela "Pam" Jean Jackson, 50, of State College, died Friday, February 13, 2009, at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College.
She was born December 17, 1958, a daughter of Jean Keene who survives in Boalsburg and the late Robert "Bob" Keene.
March 24, 1979, she married Bob Jackson who survives at home.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter Kyla Jackson of State College; two sons Rob Jackson and his wife Janette of Boalsburg, and Cory Jackson of State College; one sister, Lori Stiver and her husband Kevin of Boalsburg; her paternal grandmother, Amber Keene of Boalsburg; a step granddaughter Emily Boob; her mother and father in law, Dave and Ann Jackson; two sisters-in-law, Sandy Chamberlin and her companion Don Vonada, and Kathy Proctor and her husband Steve; two brothers-in-law, Dave Jackson and his wife Sherry, and Roy Lucas husband of the late Darlene Lucas; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandfather Nestor Keene and a sister in law, Darlene Lucas.
Pam graduated from State College High School in 1976, and from Centre County Vocational School of Technology in 1977 as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She was employed at the former Park West Manor Nursing Home as an LPN for thirteen years, and operated an in home daycare for eighteen years where she loved the kids as much as if they were her own.
Pam enjoyed collecting lighthouses, putting jigsaw puzzles together and spending time with her family. She was a very loving and devoted wife and mother.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Boalsburg.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Boalsburg cemetery, with the Reverend Faith McCausland officiating.
