Pastor Aaron Boyd Myers, 63, of Centre Hall, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at Centre Community Hospital.
He was born Nov. 27, 1939 in Julian, PA, a son of the late Edward P. and Ethel J. (Kelley) Myers. He married Joanne Marie Bilger who survives at home.
He was a minister for most of his adult life with the New Testament Baptist Bible Church in Spring Twp. Prior to that he was a TV repairman for ten years and later sold flowers from his home.
He was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Centre Hall. Pastor Myers also participated in outreach programs in the local area.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters: Peggy L. Walk of State College, Sally J. Frehn of Huntingdon, and Mary B. Caldana of Bellefonte; three sons: Aaron B. Myers III of State College, Patrick L. Myers of Centre Hall, and Matthew D. Myers of Lock Haven. He is also survived by 4 sisters: Patricia Harpster of Pine Grove Mills, Joanna Williams of Milesburg, Jean McCulley of Milesburg, and Jane Hall of Julian. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Friends will be received from Noon to 3:00 p. m., Sat., July 19, 2003 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 p. m., with the Rev. James D. Gray officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Gap Lutheran Cemetery.
