Patricia "Patty" Elsa Burns, 72, of Shingletown died April 2, 2016, at Juniper Village.
Born February 17, 1944, in Bridgeport, Ct, she was the daughter of the Elsa (Sava) Burns and the late William R. Bums.
Patty attended The Notre Dame High School in Bridgeport and The Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, where she majored in English.
On August 7, 1976, she married Albert Edward Stolte, Jr. who survives at their home.
Along with her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Stolte McGinty, (Schaunne) and their daughters Rhodahlia and Lirawyn of Rickmansworth, UK; Daughter-in-law Carol Stolte, and son Emmet and stepson Casey Corso of Bellefonte; William Bums of Fairfield, Ct; and Priscilla Burns Brown of Stratford, Ct and son Liam of Chicago, II.
She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher David Stolte, in 2013.
Patty very much enjoyed gardening and quilting and adored her grand children. She was also
passionate about Quaker education. Memorial contributions should be directed to the Friends School,
1900 University Dr., State College, PA, 16801, in her name.
Memorial services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
