Nittany Patricia Joan Corl, 77, of State College, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Mt. Medical Center at State College.
She was born May 14, 1931, in Central City, a daughter of the late Jacob and Sarah Will Kimmel.
On July 15, 1950, she married James C. Corl who survives at home.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Jeffrey C. Corl, at home and Robert M. Corl of Santa Ana, CA; a sister, Mary Lou DeGreave of Jackson, MI; a nephew Jimmy Patner of Charlotte NC; a great niece Sarah McKay, a great nephew Andy Patner; and two great great nieces Emily and Isabella McKay
A sister, Beatrice Patner and a brother Theodore Kimmel preceded her in death.
Patricia graduated from State College High School and attended Penn State University. She worked in the family business, Corl Trucking of State College, as a bookkeeper.
Mrs. Corl was a lifelong Lutheran. She enjoyed playing cards, and was a member of a 500 card club and enjoyed all kinds of flowers.
Friends will be received from 6 - 8 p. m. Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service P. C. 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. A service of committal will follow at 8:00 p. m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Kevin Shock officiating.
Burial will be at Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA at the convenience of the family
