Patricia Louise Sigel, 73, of State College, died Saturday, March 6, 2004 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College.
She was born June 12, 1930, in Stormstown the fourth child of Harvey Edward Gummo and Mary Agnes (Eves) Gummo.
On September 21, 1950, in Stormstown, she married Richard Walter Sigel, who died July 22, 1985.
She was a 1948 graduate of State College High School.
Mrs. Sigel was employed in management with W T Grants, Gee Bee Department Stores and Value City Store from which she retired.
She enjoyed travel, dining out, shopping and watching figure skating and dog shows. She had an amazing wit and sense of humor that will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Janelle S. Sigel and Toni Sigel Fetterman, and her husband Sheridan Fetterman all of State College, Roni Lyn Sigel Mase and her husband, Lynn and her granddaughter, Allison Taylor Mase of Berrysburg; her sister Mildred Bastuscheck of Mifflinburg; her companion of many years, Willis Bish; numerous nieces and nephews; and several sisters- and brothers- in law.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Mabel Clifford and Clarence Gummo, both of Stormstown; and her son Craig Richard Sigel.
Friends will be received from 6 - 8 p. m. Monday, March 8, 2004, at Mark D. Heintzelman funeral Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at Grays Cemetery Route 550 near Stormstown, PA; with the Rev. George Burn officiating.
