Paul E. (Butch) Cogan 65, of Centre Hall, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at home.
He was born August 6, 1946, the son of the late Paul W. and Frances L. Pressler Cogan.
On January 27, 1968 he married Donna Gephart who survives at home.
Butch spent over forty years as a truck driver, before it took a toll on his body, and he was no longer able to work.
He enjoyed going to races, watching TV and spending time with his kids, grandkids and all the family dogs.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Robert (Bob) Cogan and his wife Barb and their son Sammy of Woodbury, NJ; William (Bill) Cogan and his wife Kim and their daughter Lizzie of Howard; and one daughter, Brenda Cogan and her boy friend Tim, and her daughter Alissa of Centre Hall. Also surviving is his dog, Blitzen, whom he was seldom seen without.
An informal, casual, gathering and time of remembering Butch's life, will be held at Progress Grange, 219 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, on Friday, December 23, 2011 from 11:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m.
