Pauline C. Emel, 83, of Bellefonte, died Thursday, October 18, 2007, at Centre Crest Nursing Center in Bellefonte.
She was born October 18, 1924, in State College, a daughter of the late Homer and Christina B. Cox Breon.
Mrs. Emel is survived by two daughters, Barbara C. Irwin and her husband George R. Irwin Jr. of Bellefonte, and Venida C. Metz and her husband Robert L. Metz Sr. of Julian; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter June Andrea Emel Tice
She was the last member of her immediate family.
Pauline devoted her life to being a homemaker. She especially enjoyed bowling, stitchery and latch hook crafts.
Friends will be received from 10:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m Monday, October 22, 2007, at the graveside at Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a. m. at the cemetery, with the Rev. Alex Dyakiw officiating. Burial will be at Centre County Memorial Park. Immediately following the graveside service, friends and family are invited to a time of fellowship and refreshment at the home of her daughter, Barbara C. Irwin, 625 Burnside St. Bellefonte, PA.
