Obituary
Rebecca Hauser, 67, of Snow Shoe, died Friday, October 13, 2017, at Hershey Medical Center.
She was born October 24, 1949, at Philipsburg, a daughter of the late James A. Sr. and Audrey Collins Verbeck.
On June 24, 1972, she married Boyd E. Hauser who survives at home.
After graduating from high school, she attended a hairdressing and cosmetology school.
Mrs. Hauser worked as a baker at Weis Markets for many years, and worked as a recess monitor at elementary schools in the Bald Eagle School District.
Cooking, baking, crafts, crocheting, and long car rides, were among the things she enjoyed most.
Surviving in addition to her husband is one son Terry B. Hauser and his girlfriend Jennifer Dobson of Milesburg; one sister, Nancy Bowman (Jake) of Morrisdale; and one brother James Verbeck of Morrisdale.
Friends will be received from 6 - 8 pm Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service. 1034 Benner Pike, State College. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Centre County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Snow Shoe Fire Company, P. O. Box 95, Snow Shoe, PA 16874; or to Snow Shoe EMS, P. O. Box 271, Snow Shoe, PA 16874
