Richard A. Dry's Obituary
Richard A. Dry, 63, went home to be with the Lord on March 22, 2014.
Born April 12, 1950, in Johnstown, he was the son of the late James J. Dry and Sara M. (Kellerman) Miller.
On June 17, 1977, he married Ruth Wilson, who survives at home.
Rick worked at Corning for thirty years, and drove truck for eight years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #700 in State College, a former member of the Boalsburg fire company, and he honorably served our country in the United States Army.
He loved his family, and the family dog, Lillie.
Along with his wife Ruth, he is survived by one daughter; Jennifer (Greg) Alters of State College; two granddaughters, Kacie and Kaitlyn Alters; One brother -in - law, Mike Kelleher of Bellefonte, and several nieces and nephews.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Martha Kelleher.
The family wishes to thank all his caregivers including Centre Home Care, and Mount Nittany ICU.
Visitation will be 5:00-6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Home, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Centre Hall, PA. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Pastor Jody Reese officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Nittany Baptist Church, 219 Pine Tree Ave. Boalsburg, PA 16827 or to the Richard Dry memorial fund, c/o Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service P. C., P. O. Box 443, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
