Richard Thomas "Dick" Facer, Jr., 85, of Pleasant Gap, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Wynwood House, State College.

Born April 17, 1940, in Bellefonte, he was a son of the late Richard Thomas Facer, Sr. and Betty (Kerstetter) Facer.

Mr. Facer was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He worked as a correctional officer lieutenant at SCI Rockview. Dick belonged to the former Elks Lodge in Boalsburg and was a lifetime member of the Pleasant Gap Fire Company. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Kay (Cramer) Facer; 2 sons, Gary (Lori) Facer and Michael (Leann) Facer; 3 grandchildren, Thomas James Facer, Laura Lyn Dolan, and Rodney Lee Facer; and 4 great-grandchildren, Alexis (Steven) Young, Hailey, Olivia, and Garrett.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 3 brothers, Larry, Edward, and Ernie Facer; and his sister, Roberta Farkas.

A viewing will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025, 10-11am, at Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. Interment following the viewing will be at Pine Hall Cemetery.
