Richard A. Hoover, 65, of Pittsburgh, (formerly of Bellefonte), died Thursday, June 5, 2008.
He was born February 4, 1943, a son of the late Marcella A.(Gilday) and Harvey G. Hoover.
Richard was a graduate of Bellefonte Area High School and Penn State University where he was a member of the Blue Band.
He served in the U. S. Army.
He is survived by a son, Dr. Brian G. Hoover, his wife Malini, and twin granddaughters, Lena and Lana of New Mexico; a sister Jane Fisher and her husband Daniel of Bellefonte, and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Ronald, Gerald, Patrick, and Thomas.
Burial will be private.
