Richard Oscar Walker, 80, of Milesburg, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Mt. Nittany Medical Center while surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 24, 1945, a son of the late Emma and Charles Walker.

Richard was a devoted member of Freedom Life Church. He had worked for Hanover Foods for over 30 years.

He married the love of his life, Durlla M. "Dolly" Walker, who survives, on January 3, 1970. Also surviving are his daughters, Mary Ellen Walker and Rose (Robert) Blesh of Milesburg, and Elizabeth (Andy) Quick of Snow Shoe; grandchildren, Robert Blesh III, Carrie Wilson, Daniel Katz, and Kyle Blesh; great grandchildren, Aurora Streightiff and Christopher Roldan; brother, Leroy Edwards; and a sister, Helen Elizabeth.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Mary Jane, John Williams, Judy Ellen, Charles Nathan, and James Thomas.

A funeral service will be held Friday, December 5, 2025, 12 noon, at Haky Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801 with Pastor Josh Simonetti officiating. Viewing will be from 11am – 12 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Centre County Memorial Park.
