Robert Hugh Andrews Jr. 63, of State College, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at his residence in State College.
He was born November 11, 1946 in Scranton, a son of the late Robert Hugh Andrews Sr. and Ruth Keating Andrews.
Hugh earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University.
Mr. Andrews was a member of the State College Christian Church where he served as an elder. He was affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Order of the Arrow. He worked as an independent contractor doing electrical and plumbing work in the construction industry.
Surviving are a sister Louise Andrews Six of Leesburg, VA; a brother Scott Richard Andrews of Covington, VA; and a niece Sarah Six Morrissey of Leesburg, VA.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Mr. Andrews, will be held at 1:00 p. m. Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Chinese Alliance Church, 1107 William St. State College, PA; with the Reverend Vince Smith officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Arlington, VA.
