Robert W. Blazer, 42, of Centre Hall, died Wednesday, July 19, 2006 as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Livonia.
He was born in January 24, 1964 in Bellefonte, a son of Joanne Wert Blazer of Centre Hall and the late Philip Henry Blazer.
In addition to his mother he is survived by three brothers, John E. Blazer of Bellefonte, James L. Blazer and his wife Penny, of rural Spring Mills and Philip H. Blazer Jr. and his wife Joanne, of Bellefonte; two nephews, Levi Blazer and his wife Elizabeth, of Ann Arbor, Mi and Cody of rural Spring Mills; and his fiance, Wendy Richards, of Centre Hall.
Robert was a 1982 graduate of Penns Valley High School and a 1986 graduate of Lock Haven University with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science. He had wrestled in both high school and college.
He was employed as a computer programer at Locus Inc. of Boalsburg and later at Real Time Devices of State College.
He was a social member of American Legion Post 779 and a charter member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 779 in Centre Hall.
He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and also enjoyed playing pool and was involved in several pool leagues.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. on Monday, July 24, 2006, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 301 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA with the Rev. Russell Sauerwein and the Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Friends will be received in the fellowship hall of the church immediately following the services. Graveside services and burial will be at 1:00 p. m. at the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery, West Church St. Centre Hall, PA.
