Robert E. Lehman, 77, of Bellefonte died April 26, 2016 at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Born March 25, 1939 in the Curtin Mansion at Curtin Village he was the son of the late Amos and Jenny (Sweitzer) Lehman.

On September 25, 1965 he married Alice Lyons. They celebrated 50 years of marriage.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Nancy Walker (Jim) of Karthaus a brother-in-law, Fred Peters of Bellefonte, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, Phyllis Shultz, Cathy Peters, Iva Lehman, Mary Hockenberry and Gloria Lehman; three brothers, Amos, Jr.,Thomas and Joseph Lehman.

Robert attended the Bellefonte School District. He retired from Graymont after 34 years of employment.

He was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church in Zion, and enjoyed fishing, hunting and Penn State football; as well as the time he spent with his many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, May 14, 2016 at the New Hope UMC, 1089 E. College Avenue, Bellefonte (Zion).
