Robert L. Grabill, 94, of Port Matilda, PA passed away Friday, March 21, 2025. He was born March 7, 1931 in Roaring Spring, PA to the late Roy and Pearl (Kauffman) Grabill. In 1950 he married Shirley J. Elway; they remained married until his passing.

Robert was a charter member and served as a deacon at Faith Baptist Church of State College. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, animals and camping. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor.

Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Boob; three brothers, Roy Grabill, Dan Grabill and Paul Grabill; two sisters, Tressa Ajtaji and Frances Ajtaji and one son-in-law, Gilbert Boob, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Shirley J. Grabill; two daughters, Barbara Johnson and her husband Willis of Pleasant Gap, PA and Patricia Kessling and her husband Edwin of Port Matilda, PA; six grandchildren, Tim Kessling and his wife Deanne, Liza Kessling, Clayton Kessling and his wife Alesha, Mary Holt and her husband Mark, Gilbert Boob, Jr. and Amber Solt and her husband Daryl and ten great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Faith Baptist Church of State College, 647 Valley Vista Dr., State College, PA 16803. A viewing will be held from 10:00am – 11:00am with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00am, Pastors Drew Fenstermacher and Clayton Kessling, officiating. Interment will take place at Grays Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations in Robert's honor may be made to Faith Baptist Church of State College or Halfmoon Christian Fellowship Church, Port Matilda, PA.
