Obituary

Robert Richard Hull, 78, of Centre Hall, died Friday, July 29, 2005, at Hearthside Nursing Center in State College.
He was born March 7, 1927 at Fort Louden, PA, a son of the late Lester and Hazel Sanders Hull. On June 5, 1951 he married Dorothy M. Nevel Hull who survives at Centre Crest in Bellefonte.
After graduating from High School, he served in the U. S. Army at the end of World War II, with the 88th Calvary Reconnaissance Troop 88th Infantry Division, earning the rank of Technician Fifth Grade. He earned the Army of Occupation, World War II, and European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medals
He was self employed for many years, then went work for Penn DOT, and later for Penn State University retiring in 1980 as a truck driver with the food service division.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, picnicking and spending time with his family
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Deborah M. Corell and her husband of Philipsburg and Donna K. Brooks and her husband Ron of Julian; two sons Dennis J. Hull and his wife Cindy of Spring Mills and Jeffrey L. Hull and his wife Susan of Millheim; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Mary Catherine Gearhart of Mercersburg and Donna Hampton of Shippensburg, PA; one brother Merle Hull of State College. In addition to his parents a daughter Diane Eckenroth, a son Robert Hull, a sister, Jean Armstrong and a brother John Hull, preceded him in death
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a. m. on Monday, August 1, 2005 at Boalsburg Cemetery, Boalsburg, PA with the Rev. Mahlon Nevel officiating.
